Amir Salehnia is the founder and host of @footballtalkstv. Born in Tehran, Iran but raised in West Vancouver, British Columbia, Amir currently resides in Toronto, Ontario. His academic pursuits and interest in the world of sport media has led him there. In Toronto he is currently completing his undergraduate degree in sports media as a student at the RTA School of Media.
Amir’s interest in sport media has stemmed from his lifelong obsession and involvement in sport. He is both a former high-performance athlete and coach in football and tennis.
Apart from sports journalism, Amir’s primary interests include production, entrepreneurship and graphic design. These passions all come together in his football page that has quickly amassed over 50,000 organic followers within three years!
