I recently graduated with a B.S. in Bioengineering-Biotechnology from University of California, San Diego with the ultimate goal of acquiring enough knowledge to make a difference in the world. I'm passionate about various areas of research, including stem cell, and recently worked on a project in the exciting new are of Brain Tumor Stem Cell Epigenetics at Stanford University to understand the effect of histone modifications on brain tumor cells.
As you can see from my resume, I have a strong knowledge of lab techniques including cell culture, media and buffer preparation. In addition, serving as the president for a health care organization at UCSD and a privately owned startup while volunteering for extensive hours at Scripps Memorial Hospital has helped me develop excellent communication and leadership skills.
Given my education and dedication to science, I am confident that I have the abilities to be an effective contributor to the field of biotechnology. To further discuss my possible intern candidacy in an interview, I can be reached at (408) 628-7100.
