As a boy from Sitamarhi, I left my hometown to search for a better life and job opportunity. With my BCA degree, I came to Patna and enrolled in a Dot net course at NIIT. After completing the course, I struggled to find a suitable job in Patna. Since my father couldn't provide me with accommodation, he asked me to return home. Desperate for any job, I attended an interview for a data entry position conducted by two M.Tech boys. They said I was overqualified but offered me a salary, so I accepted. However, I wasn't happy with my decision and continued searching for a better job.

After some time, my enthusiasm for job interviews dwindled. I came across a company called Finesse Web Tech and went for an interview for an online marketing executive role. I didn't know much about SEO then, so I researched it on Google. To my surprise, I realized that I had already been doing it for my personal QA blog on computer science. Why not give it a try? Now, someone would pay me to do what I already loved doing.

During the interview, I answered the questions I remembered and honestly admitted when I didn't know the answers. I assured them I was good at revising and would do my best to learn. I had low expectations since many candidates seemed more confident and well-dressed than me.

The next day, while I was out with a friend at the market, I received a call from the company's HR. She informed me that I had been selected for the job and could start the following day. I was grateful and went to Mahavir Mandir in Patna with my friend to thank God for this opportunity.

It has been over 9 years since I started my journey as an Online Marketing Executive, with little theoretical knowledge of SEO. Today, I am a Digital Marketing Manager overseeing over 70 projects with a team of 10+ smart executives.
