Student, human resorces, and Volunteer in atlanta
I’m Amiyah Chism, a junior at Clark Atlanta University majoring in Mass Media Arts with a concentration in Public Relations. As an honors student, I’m passionate about communication, creativity, and connecting with others in ways that inspire change.
Professionally, I’ve gained experience in several industries that have shaped my skills and work ethic. Since May 2023, I’ve worked as a seasonal store associate at Bath & Body Works, where I’ve learned the importance of customer engagement and teamwork. I’ve also served as a camp counselor, creating safe and fun environments for children, and completed a summer internship with the Chicago Transit Authority, where I gained firsthand experience in professional communication and organizational leadership.
Outside of work, I am very passionate about giving back to my community. I regularly volunteer with Hands On Atlanta and the Atlanta Community Food Bank, helping support local families and service initiatives that bring people together. Volunteer work keeps me grounded and reminds me why community impact matters.
My professional interests lie in Human Resources, where I can combine my communication background, leadership skills, and passion for helping others. I see myself creating inclusive, empowering spaces where people can grow and thrive both personally and professionally.
