Following graduation, Dr. Amiya Prasad completed residencies at Beth Israel Medical Center and Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, gaining hands-on field experience in reconstructive procedures. Dr. Amiya Prasad then accepted a demanding fellowship in oculofacial plastic surgery at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, which led to a preceptorship in ear, nose and throat and facial plastic surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Brookdale University Hospital appointed Dr. Amiya Prasad as Chief of Surgery and requested he develop the hospital's Division of Oculofacial Plastic Surgery. Recognized as highly adroit in the complexities of microscopic surgery, Dr. Amiya Prasad gained the title of Certified Cosmetic Oculofacial Plastic Surgeon, a designation fewer than 500 doctors currently hold. He currently brings his talents to both locations of his private practice, Le Visage MediSpa.
