Hey there,I am Amkelani Zenande Mkhonza, a third year Bachelor of Education student majoring in Business Studies, Physical Education and Economic and Management Sciences (EMS). My philosophy of teaching is centred on creating learning experiences that empower learners to think critically, believe in themselves and develop the knowledge, skills and values they need to succeed in school and beyond. I believe that every learner has unique potential and it is the responsibility of a teacher to create an inclusive, supportive and engaging learning environment where all learners feel valued and motivated to participate.
As I reflect on my journey into teaching, I realize that my path has been shaped by experiences I never expected. Teaching was not my first choice, as I entered the profession because of unforeseen circumstances. However, as I have progressed through my studies and gained more experience, I have come to understand that teaching is more than just a career ,it is my calling. I firmly believe that God placed me on this path to inspire, encourage and positively change the lives of others.
As a future teacher, my mission is not only to teach subject content but also to shape character, build confidence and encourage lifelong learning. As I continue to grow professionally and personally, I remain committed to lifelong learning, educational excellence, entrepreneurship and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others, then I will know that I have fulfilled the purpose God has placed on my heart.
