Amogelang Malete is a 3rd year pre-service science teacher specializing in Natural Sciences, Life Sciences, and Physical Sciences across the Senior and Further Education Training phases. By engaging in Work-integrated Learning, microteaching, and tutoring, i have gained experience in planning, presenting, and reflecting on lessons for learners in Grade 8 to 12.
She is particularly interested in inquiry-based learning, differentiated instruction, formative assessment and the purposeful integration of digital technology. I have used practical investigations, scientific models, simulations, educational videos, interactive quizzes and collaborative activities to make abstract scientific concepts more accessible. Her developing professional skills include CAPS-aligned lesson planning, classroom communication, questioning techniques, scaffolding, assessment design, learner support, reflective practice and adapting instruction to diverse learning needs and resource contexts.
Her goal is to spark and instill a love for science and critical thinking in all young learners.
