Mexico City

Aren't we all different things to different people? Not too long ago, I was climbing the ladder in corporate America. The oldest child and the only girl, I've always been predictable: Go to college. Find boy. Marry boy. Adopt dog. Have child. Raise child. Work for Fortune 500 company. Excel. Live and die by my Outlook calendar.

Rush. Rush. Rush.

Then one day, my husband came home and asked if I might like to move to Mexico City, and I said, "yes". Did I mention, I had never even been to Mexico City? And since then, things haven't been so predictable.

Lately, I've been learning to blog, box and speak Spanish. I've been "Freshly Pressed" on WordPress and I'm a Top Contributor to Trip Advisor. A first time expat, my life is an interesting adventure. I blog the daily highs and lows of expatriation at: amovingstory.com.

I firmly believe that when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it. I believe that there's always a solution. That the love of a child is the most gratifying and humbling thing that can happen to you. And that love is the best, most powerful thing you can share and experience. I'm passionate about food, travel and Mexico. I love entertaining, exploring new places, and my English Springer Spaniel, Ranger.

Follow my adventures everyday on my blog or on Twitter.
