Amplify

Amplify is a teen alternative rock cover band based in midcoast Maine, performing sounds distinctive of the 90s alternative rock scene. The band was formed as an ensemble class at Midcoast Music Academy (MCMA) under the guidance and instruction of singer songwriter Kate Fiano, and quickly began gigging on their own. The band takes inspiration from genres like 90s alternative rock, favoring music by female-fronted bands. Amplify features Lavender Robinson on drums, Fiona Kilfoyle on bass, June on guitar and background vocals, Marian Johnston on vocals, and Ruby Mitschke on lead guitar. Amplify has performed locally at the Villager Cafe, the Strand Theatre, and Camden Hills Regional High School.
