Billy Colley

Fresno, California, United States

I am currently finishing up my BS in Computer Science while working full time as the Maintenance Mechanic for Humanscale in Fresno, CA. My duties include maintaining the equipment and machinery, as well as all engineering duties to include the design and construction of an entirely new production line. This newly re-designed line increased productivity by 12%. I will graduate in the spring of 2016, though my education will obviously never really come to an end. Computers are my passion, and have embraced learning about them in every way I can.

Previous Experience:

After six years in the United States Navy as a Cryptologic Technician Interpretive I left for civilian life. I spent three years going to school at Fresno City College with my lovely wife before landing a job as the Quality Control Inspector (QCI) for Humanscale Fresno.

I was the QCI for my three month probation period, and then I was promoted to Quality Control Inspector/Production Lead where I am in charge of three production lines and directly supervise nine people. I have increased productivity over my lines by 10% while also increasing morale and retention among those I supervise.
