Emmy Afebuame holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Nexford University, USA and a BSc. (Hons) Degree in Economics from Madonna University, Nigeria.

I am open to new challenges in a dynamic environment, enabling me to fully utilize the variety of skills that I have garnered through years of working in my operations/administrative field.

Over time, I have amassed a great wealth of knowledge with an eye for consistent improvement, putting my skills into practice most effectively as an Office Coordinator at GroFin for over 6 years. I have been responsible for maintaining effective communication and liaison with various stakeholders throughout GroFin, in charge of in-country Finance, Human Resources, Marketing and General Office Management.

Working together with other Investment Directors and Managers as the only administrative staff on the team, I championed the introduction of our Gender Lens Investments Initiative across 13 offices with a mission to build a community for women entrepreneurs to thrive.

Prior to this time post NYSC, I worked as Office Manager and Asset Management trainee at Arian Capital Management Limited, An Investment Banking firm and Member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange; where I garnered hands on experience in proper office and staff management, compiling research reports from the NSE and other relevant information to be disseminated to clients on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

I am passionate about development in Nigeria and I currently volunteer my skills as a Relief Merchant and Registrar at a Non-Governmental Organization that оffеrs a lifeline fоr indigent men, women and children seeking ѕuрроrt and empowerment in this trying economy. I run the operations and vocational skills empowerment arm of the Foundation that has consistently impacted the lives of millions of indigents for free at our vocational skills acquisition and rеhаbіlіtаtіоn centres.

As a passion, I help children in developing their creative and cognitive skills by inculcating a healthy reading lifestyle in them, hosting various educational events and providing resources that aid them in becoming smarter kids.
