Strategic Communications and Media Relations

I have always loved puzzles. So, it stands to reason that in a world that is increasingly noisy, I love figuring out how to tell stories so they are heard. Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than getting a message to its intended audience, providing information, triggering emotion and motivating change.

This is not only what I do, it’s who I am - a passionate advocate who understands the value of speaking in a tone that can be heard.

Having served for several years as spokesperson for AAA in Greater Hartford, I recently accepted a new role as Manager of Communications and Content across thirteen states. It is my job to ensure that all of our spokespeople have interesting, relevant stories to tell - and the media training necessary to tell those stories in the right way, to the right people. Many of those stories are intended to motivate lifesaving changes in driving behaviors, so sharing messaging that resonates feels exceptionally rewarding.

It serves me well that I have spent time on both sides of the microphone. Prior to my work in public relations, I was an award-winning reporter for both NBC television and CBS Radio.

I value my time with family and friends. Any time. Anywhere. Sometimes on a golf course, occasionally at a sporting event, rarely in the kitchen!

I'm a Philly girl at heart but, having lived in Connecticut now for more than a decade, I've come to know my softer side and grown to appreciate Nature's beauty.

If you'd like to connect, I'm always happy to do so. Please reach out through any of my social sites.
