Amy Burgar

Arts Advocate, Grant Writer, and Project Manager in Bloomington, Indiana

A current Master of Arts in Arts Administration candidate at Indiana University and a recent graduate with a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, I am a strong advocate of education and the fine arts, and believe in their ability to supply the public with inspiration, motivation, economic stimulation, and beauty. I have chosen to dedicate my life to the production, education, and availability of the arts to any and all who seek them.

A lover of Tex-Mex and all things sweet, I strive for positivity in all that I do.

A human of many hats, I presently serve as the Director of Development for New Voices Opera, the Exhibitions Assistant at the Mathers Museum of World Cultures, and the Development Assistant for the IU Auditorium.

"To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you like everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting." - E.E. Cummings
