Amy K. Hoover

Amy K. Hoover is a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and computer science Ph.D. candidate at the University of Central Florida under associate professor Kenneth O. Stanley. She earned bachelor of science degrees in mathematics and computer science, both with honors at the University of Central Florida in 2009. She has won best paper awards at EvoMUSART and at GECCO for her work on NEAT Drummer and MaestroGenesis, programs that help amateur musicians compose and explore their own musical creativity. Amy was an invited fellow to the Exploring the Mind through Music conference and is currently the co-organizer for the Evolutionary Art, Design, and Creativity Competition at GECCO.
