Beckerman relocated to New York City in 2006 where honed her skills as a performer and producer and studied Digital Photography at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Comedy/Production:

Beckerman was the Producer and Host of Dykes on Mics, a comedy show that ran for three years at various venues in NYC such as Comix and the legendary Stonewall Inn and performed all over the Northeast, including The Art House Theatre during Provincetown's Women's Week. Dykes on Mics was billed as a "best bet for comedy" several times by Time Out New York.

In March 2010, Beckerman co-produced Generosititties, the topless comedy event that raises money for The Young Survival Coalition. The premier show was in March 2010 at Comix in New York City.

Beckerman has been seen on MTV, HERE TV, and Howard Stern. Most recently, she was named "Best Comic" at the GO Magazine Readers Choice Awards in 2012.

Beckerman is one of the few that genuinely loves to make people laugh. She says things other people think, but wouldn't have the balls to say. She is cynical with a twist of sarcasm she instills with every bite of life.
