Hey there, I’m Amy. I’m an Assistant Director of Academic Advising at Rice University living in Houston, Texas. Originally from southern Mississippi, I received my Masters in Higher Education Administration from the University of Kansas in May, 2016. I previously received my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from the University of West Alabama.

I am now serving as the Assistant Director of Academic Advising at Rice University in Houston, Texas.

Supporting, challenging, and engaging with college students is my passion. As a first-generation college student, I have always wanted to serve others and give back to society by supporting the development of students and early-career professionals.
