Amy Black

Born as a creative being in 1982 in the Harz Mountains in the middle of Germany and grown up in the emperor’s town Goslar, Germany.

Trained foreign language correspondent and commercial interpreter for English and Spanish.

Visisted Screenplay Workshops in 2003 and 2004 and meant to work my way in the writing sector, though life had other plans at first.

Holder of a diploma for interior design.

CCI degree of retail saleswoman as part of dual studies for business studies with key aspects on retail.

Volunteered for PETA in London, before holding a position within the same organization as Fundraising Assistant. On the side I was working as an online journalist and at an organic health food store in London.

Visited the Working Men’s College, London, for Graphics and Design, Web Design as well as Access to Art and Design while also been working as a Model and held a few events, such as an aftershow party for a band.

Vegan since 2007 and ambitious to share news, petitions, recipes and everything else there is about being a compassionate vegan. Hence I've been maintaining a bilingual vegan blog since January 2008.

Finally started to work on the aim to write again in 2013. Upon brainstorming for ideas, felt so inspired that more than only one project came into planning.

On the side translating such as novels for other authors, scientific publications or subtitles for TV series/documentaries/movies.
