God gave me a heart for cross-cultural missions but it wasn’t until 2009 that I seriously considered doing full-time missions work. In 2010, I went with OMF International through their ServeAsia program to Thailand on a TESOL team. It was in Thailand that I first saw that ‘the fields were ripe for the harvest.’
I am moved by the fact that Thailand is mostly unreached with the good news of Jesus Christ and that most people there have never heard the name of Christ. I am humbly walking with God in His call to ‘go’ and know that He is capable of doing immeasurably more than all I ask or imagine! I am in the process of raising prayer and financial support to go to Thailand for a 5-year term of service with OMF International. When I am at 100% of pledged support, I will be cleared to go.
I have a B.S. in Biology from Kent State University, an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a Certificate of Biblical Studies from the Moody Bible Institute. I plan to use my gifts to teach English as a means to build relationships, disciple believers and plant churches in communities unreached by the gospel.
