I am a PhD student at the Department of Geography, Durham University, and live in Dublin, Ireland.

My PhD is examining the impact of austerity on health inequalities in the North of England. It is part of a Leverhume Trust funded project entitled Local Health Inequalities in an Age of Austerity.

My research focuses on the experiences of mothers and their everyday lives during austerity and welfare reform.
