I’m Amy Haisten, a graphic designer and artist located in Jackson, Georgia, and I am the founder of Pink Pixel Media, LLC. The company is a venue to create graphics on a part-time basis during off hours from The Monroe County Reporter. I also produce graphics and advertisements for clients in Forsyth and the surrounding area that appear in the weekly newspaper. My work has won several first and second place awards in the annual Georgia Press Association advertising contest. My biggest achievement at the Reporter was the first edition of Welcome Home which placed first in the special section category in 2011.

My previous experience at Benson Media gave me the opportunity to work on marketing campaigns for large multi-housing corporations including Equity Residential, Colonial Properties Trust (acquired by Mid-America Apartment Communities) and LEDIC Management Group as well as political projects for several congressmen including Sen. John Wiles, Rep. Earl Ehrhart and Sen. Ronnie Chance.

Print media and branding are my specialty, but I am also a front end web designer. I have worked in the design field since graduating in 2003. I have a B.A. in Art & Design with a concentration in Graphic Design from LaGrange College and a diploma in Animation & Multimedia with a concentration in Web Design from Central Georgia Technical College. My recent accounting studies at Middle Georgia State College is an asset in my business endeavors.

I love the beach, sharks and turtles. I am a reader, casual gamer, chocoholic and an admirer of Vincent van Gogh and Grant Wood.
