Amy Slattery is a registered architect with 15 years of experience on some of the most notable projects in the Kansas City region. Her time at nationally recognized design and construction firms has given Amy diverse experience and knowledge on the balancing act of innovation and market-driven design results. Amy is a 2015 graduate of the Kauffman Fast-Trac New Venture Start Up Program. She created Odimo to bring project leadership and business acumen to better serve her clients with a hands-on approach to architecture and design.
Amy earned her Bachelors in Architecture in from the University of Kansas. She is a registered architect in the states of Missouri and Kansas, and holds her NCARB Certificate. Amy has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2004, achieving Building Design and Construction specialty in 2011.
An established leader and advocate for diversity in the profession of architecture, Amy was recognized by Engineering-News Record as a Midwest Top 20 under 40 in 2012, and was an American Institute of Architects (AIA) National Young Architects Award recipient in 2011. She is a founding board member of the Kansas City Chapter of International Institute for Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL) and is a past President of CREW KC.
Amy is a design advocate in the Kansas City community, currently serving on the Advisory Board for the Port Authority of Kansas City, and the University of Kansas School of Architecture Advisory Board. Amy has been a guest lecturer in professional practice at Yale School of Architecture, the University of Kansas School of Architecture and several other regional universities.
