Born and raised in Houston, I graduated High School from Langham Creek and then moved West to San Marcos where I attended Southwest Texas State. I began my career in healthcare and management while working for The Austin State School with dual diagnosed adults. While discovering my love for EMS and completing my Paramedic certification, I worked on a grant for the San Antonio Police Department with their gang unit. For almost the last 15 years I have worked with some of the best Emergency Mangagement personnel ranging from First Responders to the highest ranks in Incident Command at the State level. More importantly, however, is when I became a mother in April of 2006. My son, Cameron, is by far my greatest achievment. I'm not strething it a bit when I say his presence commands a room and his laugh will melt even the toughest persons heart. Currently we're treading through unfamiliar territory falling victim to Parental Alienation. And even though it's the worst form of child abuse, it's the most difficult to understand and even harder to prove. I hope that you'll follow along as I reach out seeking guidance, extend my hand offering support, and buckle down while I make waves joining in the fight to bring change to our family courts. This isn't just a local problem, but spans worldwide. I'm in this for the long haul, and with any faith, luck, or even karma smiling my way, maybe I'll shed some light on the importance of BringingHomeCam.
