I'm Amy Simpkins, a former rocket scientist turned life coach. I help accomplished nerds feel less lost in work/life balance and more intentional about designing inspired lives. I do that by integrating structured principles from architecture and engineering with compassion and intuition to illuminate deep, fresh self-knowledge and to catalyze personal transformation.

I believe that our greatest opportunity for impact as a global community comes when we are nourished, fulfilled, and thriving as individuals. And that is why I do this work.

I spent 20 years pursuing career goals in the field of space exploration as a Space Systems Architect. I earned degrees from MIT and University of Southern California. I did analysis for earth-observing satellites, design and integration for human spaceflight systems, and flight operations for interplanetary probes. After accomplishing so many goals in this field, I heard and answered a new calling from deep within my soul, a calling to service and personal transformation as a coach. It was nothing that I had ever imagined I would be doing, but it was the perfect fit for the next step in my own journey. Now, my focus is to help people - especially nerds - make their own giant leaps and direction changes when they hear the call.

I am a messy chef, a world traveler, a slow triathlete, a vocal music minor, an aspiring homeschool mom of three, and a tough cookie in the Colorado backcountry.

That stuck feeling you're feeling? Don't just put your head down and push through it. I play at the intersection of art and engineering, thought and feeling, structure and flow, yin and yang. This is life coaching for the next level. Take the red pill and come play with me at http://www.lifearchitecting.com

To take the blue pill, just keep banging your head against the brick wall of the status quo.
