Hi I'm Amy, I'm 22 and an animal welfare activist living in Auckland New Zealand.
As well as studying veterinary nursing and rural animal technology I work part time at the Auckland SPCA as an Education Barn and large animal attendant.
My motto is 'Saving one animal may not change the world but for that one animal the world will change forever'. I have this tattooed on my inner arm because this has been, and always will be, my life motto.
I am fortunate enough that I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing animals like hand raising cheetah cubs in SA, and working hands on with NZ native bats. I volunteer for Outreach Therapy Pets with my three legged rescued cat Griffin and I am a regular foster parent for the SPCA.
Animals, animal welfare, conservation and veterinary medicine are what drive me in this one life I get to live.
