As a dancer, Amy has always shown her passion on and off stage, spreading joy with others. Starting at a young age, Amy begun dancing and continued her studies at Dean College. In the Spring, Amy will be receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Dance after training and studying in Ballet, Modern (Horton), Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contact Improvisation and Contemporary for the past four years. She has had the opportunity of working personally with Jill Silverman, Gregory King, Laura Young, J.T. Jenkins, Jeremy Howes, Dante Sciarra, Todd Shanks, Ricardo Foster and Rose Pasquarello Beauchamp. From her time at Dean, Amy has performed in numerous student choreographed shows along with performing Tap choreographed by Jean Wenzel and Charles Holbrook in Dean Colleges 2012 and 2013 Company shows.
In 2014, Amy received the Drusilla Carlson Phelps Award, given By Dean College’s Honors and Awards Committee to an upper class Bachelor of Arts dance major who illustrates talent in performance and a future in dance education.
Working personally with Joan Phelps Palladino, Amy completed an independent study researching eating disorders across not only the dance community, but our world. Amy hopes to inspire others with her happiness, positivity and creativity in this art form.
Striving to pursue a career as a performer, Amy will continue her passion as she impacts the ones around her.
