I have been teaching since 2005. I started my career in New Zealand before moving to North Carolina for 3 years. I taught reading remediation and First Grade whilst in the USA. I have been in Dubai for 3 years now and have a fabulous Year 1 class at Gems Wellington Primary. I am really looking forward to the opportunity to learn more exciting ways to incorporate technology into the classroom to engage and inspire the children. Good old-fashioned pen and paper is losing relevance by the day and not keeping up with ever changing technologies creates a growing gap between students and teachers. The possibilites for classrooms today are endless. I can't wait to learn from you all and move towards creating more exciting learning environments for our kids.
