Hi! I am Dr. Allie Igwe, a microbial ecologist who studies the interactions between plant roots and soil microbes under stressful conditions.

My hope is to understand how microbial amendments can support plant health in various settings. In addition to my research, I would like to design urban green spaces with mostly native and stress-tolerant plants.
