Ana Bernardes
Vienna
Born in 1980, I lived in my hometown, Coimbra (Portugal), until 2005. There, I studied Psychology, learned how to dance and gave the first steps in my personal and professional life.
A Leonardo da Vinci project developed for Psychologists was the opportunity to have a first international experience and 3 months in Vienna were enough for me to fall in love with the city and to make me return just one month later, staying there for another 7 months. During these months, I gained an intercultural experience that was crucial for my further options.
In 2006 I decided to go back to Portugal and focus on my career in Human Resources, continuing my previous professional project. From 2006 to 2012 I gained experience in this field, gaining in-depth knowledge and experience in the major HR tasks, specially in Learning & Development.
My Psychology background but also my passion for people development and talent management allowed me to give a new perspective to my work in HR and to design development programs based in psychological and pedagogical concepts.
