Ana Isabel Canhoto

I am a marketing academic, based at Oxford Brookes University, where I teach on a number of post-graduate modules.

My major area of research and consulting is in Marketing Information Systems, with a special focus on the detection and management of undesirable customers (e.g., fraudsters or money launderers). In this context, I have worked with both system users (e.g., financial institutions or law enforcement agencies) and system developers (e.g., software companies).

I am also interested in the use of social media to segment and target customers, and I am a judge on the Google Online Marketing Challenge.
