I am a Brazilian lawyer and concluded my master advanced programme in air and space law in 2010 at Leiden University, Netherlands. I have also a specialization in international law and international trade law concluded in 2001 and 2004 at Lisbon University, Portugal. I was an intern at the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) in 2009 and visiting researcher at the European Space Policy Institute (ESPI) in 2010. Since 2008, I have been assisting the Brazilian delegation in meetings of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses for Outer Space (COPUOS) and its Legal Subcommittee as an observer member. I am also member of Women in Aerospace-Europe (WIA), Brazilian Association of Air and Space Law (SBDA), International Institute of Space Law (IISL) and Netherlands Space Society.
