Ashitha is a journalist for art magazines, including Artforum, Modern Matter, Kilimanjaro and One Stop Arts, and has been previously been published in others, such as zingmagazine, Icon, and Deccan Herald.

She did her MA in History of Art at Courtauld Institute of Art and her BA in English Literature and Language at King’s College, London.

She is based in London, but has also worked in New York and India.
