Student in Athens, Georgia
Welcome! As you can obviously read from this page, I'm Ana. How about we skip the small talk and jump right in to some of the stuff that can let you know who I really am? Does that sound good? Great!
Some of you may be familiar with Ernest Hemingway's Iceberg Theory, also known as the "theory of omission." For those of you who do not know, the iceberg theory describes a piece of writing that is so much more than it seems. It may mean one thing when you first take a look at it, but as you start to dive in deeper you unravel all of these hidden symbols. This theory characterizes me in a nutshell. I'm a very average college student at first glance; one who struggles to balance the overwhelming amount of school and work with her now almost nonexistent social life. But as you get to know me, and I mean really get to know me, you will see that there is so much more going on. I'm a bit of a paradox. I am very honest and genuine, yet I've only opened myself up to two people in my life. I have all these ideas and theories in my head that I believe are amazing, but I fail to properly execute the majority of them. I am a health nut who loves yoga, running, and fitness , but I suffer with many health problems such as hypothyroidism and multiple sclerosis. It's all so complicated I find it comical, as I do have a pretty dark sense of humor. Nevertheless, I remain positive and make the most with what I have been handed in life. The saying goes: "happy mind, happy life." Or is that "happy wife, happy life?" Oh well, pick the one that relates to you the most.
Now you know a little more about me! I hope I didn't scare you away with my short monologue. I'm really bad at conclusions and dislike goodbyes in general, so I think I'll end it here. I'll see you whenever I'll see you.
