Hey there, I’m Ana Isabel. I’m a teacher living in Guatemala. I am a fan of travel, food, and education. I’m also interested in cooking and outdoors. I hold a degree as a bilingual elementary school teacher, a Psychology degree from TSU,and a master’s degree in Family Educational Counseling from the Complutense University of Madrid. Currently I´m pursuing an MBA from TSU as well. I have been married for 15 years and have three daughters, aged 13 and 12 (twins). Currently, I work as a teacher at an all-girls school in Guatemala City. I have been working in education since I graduated from college 20 years ago.
Together with my husband, we run a carpentry business focused on cabinetry called Ukowil, which means "hardness" in Kaqchikel. Likewise, with my brother, I have a gourmet coffee export business, Nohtee, which has been in the family for over 100 years.
