Ana Guerrero-Spalding

I have recently joined Grupo Islita as Key Accounts Manager.

Having spent the past three years raising my daughter, I am now looking forward to working with Grupo Islita's wonderful family of destinations: Hotel Punta Islita and El Silencio Lodge & Spa. I have a background in Tourism and Marketing. In Costa Rica I have worked for the Costa Rican Tourism Board and a couple of inbound travel agencies, including one of my own that I successfully ran for three years. I have also lived in Rome where I worked in the Sustainable Development Department of the United Nations´ FAO and in London where I worked for the Prince of Wales' International Business Leaders Forum.

Now back in Costa Rica, I am in awe of how far we´ve come in the hospitality business. Offerings like Hotel Punta Islita and El Silencio Lodge & Spa provide guests with unique experiences, from idyllic honeymoon settings, to the latest Spa treatments and wellness escapes, to fun-filled family vacations and adventure packages. I visited both properties last month as part of my training and had a wonderful time. At Hotel Punta Islita I especially adored the Essential Oils Aromatherapy massage, the 2-hour horseback riding tour and the warm service provided by all the staff. At El Silencio Lodge & Spa I really enjoyed the cool mountain setting, the hike to the waterfalls, and slipping into the hot Jacuzzi after a long day of cultural experiences and outdoor activities!

After a week of immersing myself in the Grupo Islita family, I feel totally revitalized and ready to take on the challenge. I hope you and I can build a long lasting relationship so we can all share this amazing experience. I look forward to hearing from you. And if you haven´t already visited our properties, please drop me an email and I will be glad to arrange your trip for you.

Warm regards from the land of Pura Vida (Pure Life)!

Ana
