Dr Ananda Vella is an orthopaedic surgeon in Singapore who was the first to perform a lateral total ankle replacement surgery in Southeast Asia for end stage ankle arthritis. This results in the removal of fewer healthy bones, a lower risk of post-surgical complications and greater range of joint movements after surgery.
