Anand Mathew

Anand Mathew is a CELTA- and TEFL-TESOL-certified English language educator with over a decade of international experience across Oman, India, and Ireland. Trained in English Language and Literature (BA, MA) and English pedagogy (B.Ed), he has spent much of his career helping young adults build the language and academic skills they need to thrive in higher education and professional life.
As a teacher, Anand specialises in foundation and English for Academic Purposes courses, designing student-centred, technology-enhanced learning experiences for diverse learners, including those with additional learning needs. His work has ranged from classroom teaching and exam coordination to national-level assessment and curriculum projects, earning multiple awards for excellence and contribution to vocational education.
