Ananth Balasubramanian

Student in Delhi, India

Ananth is a confidently confused, philosophical manifestation of the universe. Ananth devotes most of his time trying to realize Tao, and bursts out laughing often, realizing the futility of trying.

Ananth is also the chief literary and quizzing enthusiast at his college. He is almost a mechanical engineer, and has been a research intern at IIT Madras and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).

He is a Young India Fellow, and a Fellow of the Indian School of Business' Young Leaders Program. He can speak five languages, and is always on the lookout for the next interesting person and the next stimulating conversation.

When he's not trying not to try, he reads Alan Watts and Osho, writes letters to people and tries to talk to strangers.

Some day, he means to finish reading Gurdjieff's "All and Everything".
