Welcome! I'm Ana Sofia Paiva, nice to meet you.

I’m a PhD student in Science Communication at NOVA University of Lisbon, Portugal. My work focuses on audio innovation and emerging formats and technologies in journalism, with a strong interest in audio storytelling. I hold a Master’s degree in Journalism and I'm the author of Rádio Aumentada: uma proposta de reportagem jornalística com som binaural e realidade aumentada (LabCom Books, 2019).

I have professional experience in radio, podcasts and editorial projects. I work across podcasts, binaural sound, sound maps, audio storytelling, augmented audio reality and written journalism.
