Anastasia Antonakaki is a Writer/Director and Theatre maker.

She develops the Synthesis method. She believes in empty space and in the actor interpreter as the true center.

She holds a PhD in Movement, Image & ReEnchantment (AUTh, Greece).

She has an extensive educational and training background in performing arts, theatre & dance.

She is an Adjunct Faculty Member at Theatre Studies Department, Faculty of Fine Arts at University of the Peloponnese.

She collaborates with Thymele project, the multimedia Dictionary for Performing Arts (University of the Peloponnese, Academy of Athens etc).

She teaches her method along with aspects of dramatology across various drama schools.

Her writing and directing practice interacts with ancient greek drama through Synthesis and ongoing research.

Operating from Theatre, she also makes Films.
