My name is Lisa Beatrice Dixon. I was born and raised in middle-class neigborhood in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I attended MHSA(Milwaukee HighSchool of the Arts) in which I majored in music. Played violin for 6 years and harp for 2 years. I moved to Minnesota in 2005. Starting all over with only myself, I had to discover who I was and what I wanted to do. I currently live in Shakopee, Minnesota in which I am a bus driver. I have jumped around in many career such as: customer relations, truck driving, accounting, real estate, tax adjuster to doing finally what I want to do. I have had a couple of great opportunities in my life in regards to music. I song for Luther Vandross and Little Milton cameback for me 3 times, wanting to take me across coutry with him. I had one thing holding me back, which was "fear". I have come to this stand still part of my life and realized that I have to conquer my fears, and I have. At being a woman in her 40's, and tired of hearing, "at 40 your getting old', well excuse me, but I beg to differ. I have more life, energy, love, peace, joy and self discovery that I have no time in my life anylonger. I have learned to love and embrace for what I want to do and to discover what is out in this world. I want to explore the world and at the same time to explore peoples thoughts and action.
