School psychologist in Columbia, Missouri
Hi, I’m Alex Anderson-Kahl, a School Psychologist. I love working with kids and leading multidisciplinary teams to support special education and behavioral assessments. I have an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of South Dakota and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Philosophy from Luther College. Over the years, I've earned certifications in ADOS, PREPaRE, Safe Zone, QPR, and Mental Health First Aid.
My journey has been fueled by a deep commitment to mental health advocacy, and I’ve had the privilege of serving on the executive board for Disabilities Rights South Dakota and other mental health advocacy boards. Helping children is my passion, and I take pride in forming connections with kids, envisioning and fostering their successful and happy futures.
Outside of work, I enjoy life with my wonderful dog, Kahleesi. We love spending time outdoors, going on adventures, and just having fun together. I also cherish moments with friends, whether we’re exploring new places or simply hanging out. For me, balancing my professional dedication with personal joy is key, and I’m always striving to make a positive impact in my community and in the lives of those I serve.
