Heather Anderson

Writer, Editor, and Teacher in Washington

Read my articles

I grew up in the Southwest, relocated to the Northeast, and eventually transplanted myself in beautiful Washington State all to follow my dreams.

I'm a teacher of eight year olds, a writer of fiction and a woman who wanders, yet is never lost. I love the great outdoors and living in the Pacific Northwest enables that passion.

I write fiction; flash, romance, short stories, and am a dabbling in creative non-fiction. I volunteer for Lyme Warrior to help spread awareness of Lyme disease and fight for a cure.

I received a BA through Grand Valley State University. Go Lakers! I graduated with a MFA from Northwest Institute of Literary Arts in 2016. Write on!
