Andi Perelman is in her seventh season with the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins. Andi joined the Penguins after earning her Master’s degree in Sports Industry Management at Georgetown University and working various jobs in sports (Pittsburgh Power), social media marketing (Brunner, Blackboard), and PR (Octagon). By utilizing various social management systems and analytics tools, Andi assesses the Penguins’ digital content and frames it to resonate with a majority of fans. She also live tweets games, heads up the effort to capitalize on social media trends, communicates as a fellow fan, and responds to customer service concerns.
