I am a diplomat working at the office of the Foreign Minister of Indonesia, H.E. Retno Marsudi. I assist in speechwriting, preparing talking points, as well as media relations.
Previously, I was posted at the Embassy of Indonesia for Belgium, Luxembourg, and the European Union. I was the Embassy's spokesperson for palm oil issues. My areas of expertise were economic affairs: trade and investment relations, circular economy, financial cooperation, and sustainable palm oil.
I graduated from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University (concentrated on international negotiations, international politics, conflict resolution, and international marketing) and cross-registered at the Harvard Kennedy School. I also attended Georgetown University for the Presidential Speech Writing Program.
I am active in various organizations: Asia Leadership Trek Indonesia, Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI), and Young Indonesians YOI).
Before joining the foreign service, I was the ASEAN – Indonesia Youth Ambassador 2007. I was also an Indonesian youth representative for various international exchange programs such as the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) in the United States, the Ship for South East Asian Youth Exchange Program (SSEAYP).
I am passionate about foreign policy, international marketing, and cultural-tourism promotion as well as the inter-linkage between them.
Twice a year, I host the Harvard Asia Leadership Trek in Indonesia. The trek is a socio politics - economic tour to six Asian countries with the aim to (1) Learn valuable perspectives on leadership in Asia and (2) Implement leadership/public service through conducting conferences and capacity building measures in various universities across Asia.
I was the chairman of the Jogjakarta Province Tourism Ambassadors (Dimas Diajeng Jogjakarta).
I also occasionally teach a workshop on public speaking, speechwriting, and media relations.
