Hello, I have my bachelors in Public Health and im a senior at New Mexico State University majoring in pre-nursing. Next year I plan to continue my studies to get my Masters in Public Health. Hopefully, later on i can go back to school and become a Registered Nurse (RN). I am bilingual and proficient in Spanish and English.

I am a Public Health Peer Educator at the New Mexico State University Campus Health Center. I have been working with students, faculty and staff population at NMSU and have gained a lot of experience by helping and assisting in the planning, implementing, conducting evaluations/research with different kinds of events. Some events we have done are getting the faculty and staff to increase their water consumption, Mindful Mondays with Sodexo for nutrition, National Condom, Healthy Heart week, Get Your Self Tested (GYT) etc...

In my spare time, I like to play the violin. I've been playing violin for 12 years. I like to play classical and mariachi music. During high school, I joined the mariachi high school group and we participated in mariachi conferences in Fresno, CA, Tucson, AZ, Las Cruces, NM and San Antonio, TX.
