I'm André and i am an Electronic Engineer with 5 years of professional experience in my area.
I started working as an Electronic Tecnician back in 2011 in an R&D project for a precision metalworking company called Micronorma. The project was called Magnetic Tube Joint and its goal was to built a machine that performed joining of tubular components by means of electromagnetic plastic deformation (without using mechanical force). I was responsible for the electric design and also helped with the mechanical drawings. I also worked for small customer oriented projects drawing and testing specific electronic boards. During this professional experience i had the oportunity to go outside the country to get knowledge in high voltage pulsed systems.
My second challenge came the year after when i joined a startup company named Ynvisible with a new low cost/low power display technology (Electrochromic displays). My job as an Electronic Engineer was to create driving electronics to power and control the electrochromic displays. One big project i'm pround to be part of is Printoo. It is a modular hardware platform based on Arduino board but in flexible substrate. Although it was a side project for the company, its importance grew when we managed to get crowdfunded and be advertised on Kickstarter.
For last, i have my recent experience. I joined a 10 year old robotics company with a new R&D team: Robosavvy. It aims to create humanoid robots that will ease our life and also implement crazy but useful ideas to improve the technology we have nowadays.
My role has been to design, manufacture and program electronic boards for 3D printers and Robots for us to sell in our online store. I've also worked with several R&D projects related to monitorization of Energy Meters, RC Cars and CentOS based Servers.
I acquired experience in Hardware circuits design (both analog and digital), C, assembly , LabVIEW programming and python.
I have drawn PCBs for both rigid and flexible substrates using Altium Designer and Cadsoft Eagle.
I worked with several microcontroller technologies, among them: PIC, ATMEL, TI MSP, TI Tiva C Series microcontrollers and STM32. I also develop code for Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
