André is an internal consultant @DGRNW (Digital Society North Rhine-Westphalia) at the „Staatskanzlei“ (State Chancellery) North Rhine-Westphalia since August 2016.

He also was a Cologne based educator, pianist & composer. André Spang studied classical & jazz-piano at Colleges of Saarbrücken and Cologne, Germany and filmscoring and arranging at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. André was teaching @ a public high school in Cologne and was a Lecturer @ University of Cologne for Music and Digital Media. He was a former Lecturer @ imb of the University of Augsburg and @ University of applied sciences, Cologne

In his school, André was coordinating the iPad-Project and many projects about #21stCentury Literacy eg. the KAS Junior Experts and the KAS.digitalExperts.

André is a #DigitalLeadLearner, was using Web2.0 Media and iPads in classroom, he is an #OER Maker and Founder of the German #EDchatDE, a Twitter Chat for Educators. André is an Apple Distinguished Educator, Class 2011, a Microsoft Expert Educator, Class 2015 and was a Member of the „Kompetenz Team Köln, NRW“ for Mediaconsulting since 2015.

As an Expert for #MobileLearing, André is an national and international requested Speaker and Lecturer and can be seen in many Workshops, Talks and Webinars.

Beside that, André is still active as a player in Bands and as a Composer and Arranger.
