Andre Neves
Oxford, UK
Andre is a landscape architect who loves nature, urban spaces & cities designed for people and for life. He was born by the sea, in Lisbon, Portugal, but moved to Oxford, UK, a couple of years ago as part of his journey through profissional and personal explorations. And living in this small but vibrant, international and lovely city has been just great!!
He is currently a DPhil student in Sustainable Transport at Oxford University, studying the relation between implementation of infrastructure for cyclists and pedestrians and changes in travel behaviour and carbon emissions.
Before starting his DPhil, Andre worked as a landscape architect / urban designer and consultant, in both the private and public sector in Portugal and UK.
In his free time, he loves to cycle (as sport, for leisure or commuting) and playing and composing music in his piano, guitar or accordion - a everyday exercise to keep fingers and mind revitalized. He also loves travelling and taking photos (loads!) of landscape, cities, people... and bicycles!
