Teacher, athlete, artist, and entrepreneur: those four roles help to explain my approach to personal and professional endeavors. The teacher strives to inspire learning, empower independence, and impart knowledge that will unlock opportunities. The athlete works relentlessly, builds community through teamwork, and always leaves it "out on the field." The artist sees beauty in everything and constantly creates. The entrepreneur is filled with ideas and the courage to execute them, because one can only succeed greatly if they risk failing greatly, too.

Professional highlights: Co-Founder & Director of Education at Childress Sports (2011-present). Director of Student-Athlete Development at Illinois State University (2006-2011). Academic Coordinator Assistant at University of Detroit Mercy Athletics (2011-2013). NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum Facilitator (2010). "Teach For America" Corps Member (2011).

Personal highlights: Detroit sports fan. Spoken word artist. Self-taught pianist. Road trip enthusiast. Sunset afficionado. In love with my best friend. ENFJ on the Myers-Briggs. "I" on the DiSC Assessment.
