I am a queer-mestiza-immigrant-artist-bridge-woman, permanent resident of the frontera between the United States and Latinoamérica, between English and español, between white skin and Indian skin.

It is my personal mission to create the platforms, opportunities, resources, environments, and circumstances for students to succeed and fully realize their powers to improve their communities. I aim to do this by leveraging my power to cross borders and build bridges between identities, cultures, communities, and persons with different world views and lived experiences.

This mission is based on principles of social, racial, and environmental justice, human rights, compassion, and love.
